Montesoro Golf
Created by one of the world’s premier golf course designers, Montesoro’s 7,100 yard Tom Fazio Signature Course offers spectacular desert and mountain views from every hole. “I have never designed a golf course with as many elevation changes as Montesoro. When I started to envision the unique character of this course, I thought that it would be very important to showcase the panoramic views, landscape and wildlife,” says Fazio. Montesoro features a remarkably diverse combination of holes that include unique and bountiful water features, as well as Fazio’s trademark mounding and bunker complexes. The par-5 11th hole has over 100 feet of elevation change, and the par-5 18th features a four-acre lake bordering the entire right side of the fairway. In addition, Montesoro is very fortunate to have PGA Golf Professional, David Hunter, as the Director of Golf Operations. A former European tour member and current Callaway Master Staff member, David Hunter has been recognized by Golf Magazine as one of “America’s Most Outstanding Golf Teachers”. David is overseeing the development of Montesoro’s state-of-the art Callaway Learning Center and has introduced extensive golf programming for men, women and children.
